It is a great article promoting girls' skateboarding and mentioned how Sk8Grl sold 3,000 units to 100 stores in the month of November, its first, without any advance marketing.

Los Angeles CONFIDENTIAL
October 2007 - Team pro and Sk8Grl owner Holly Lyons was in the Los Angeles Confidential Fall Issue.
The story covered the Supergirl "Actionista" Launch Party, where athletes and celebrities gathered to celebrate the launch of the collection.
Over $6,000 was also raised for Boarding for Breast Cancer.

Supergirl “Actionista” Launch Party in Los
Angeles
July 19th, 2007 - The Action Sports Community, Pro-Athletes, and Celebrities came together to celebrate the launch of the Supergirl actionista capsule collection at the Los Angeles-based Nine Star store and to show support for Boarding for Breast Cancer(B4BC).
Sk8Grl was honored to co-create a tank top and T-shirt design for Warner Bros. Supergirl and the re-imagined S-shield, which is the universally recognized symbol of strength and leadership and is a powerful symbol for today’s action sports girl.
